services/tactiq.yamlVendor data-handling terms
The privacy policy itself states that transcripts belong to the user and points to this help article for AI-feature handling. Tactiq's own use of transcripts for improvement is not addressed.
“Azure OpenAI will not use data submitted via their API to train or improve their models. / We have a service modification with Microsoft that disables content logging, so the data is not retained even for abuse and misuse monitoring purposes.”
“Tactiq will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.”
The policy still references Privacy Shield for US transfers, a framework invalidated in 2020.
“Your data is transmitted securely over SSL and stored in Google Cloud. / You can control where your transcription is stored using settings provided in the Tactiq web application: in general settings (https://app.tactiq.io/#/settings) and in specific external integrations' pages (https://app.tactiq.io/#/integrations).”

Assessment
Reasoning: A meeting transcription extension for Google Meet, Zoom and Teams. Its AI summaries run through Azure OpenAI with logging disabled, which is a good setup, but the policy is dated, names no region and does not say whether Tactiq itself uses transcripts for improvement. Meeting content is sensitive by default.
Flags: Storage region not stated · Policy still cites Privacy Shield · Tactiq's own use of transcripts not addressed · Assessed 2026-09-16. The assessment is Unseen's; the terms above are the vendor's.
